Note!
The levels are related to measurements in the HF range
of 0.8-6 GHz. If measurements include frequencies from
27 MHz this should be specified in the report. Same
levels are used in both cases.
Levels A-B are recommended for bedrooms and
acceptable sleeping quality based on the Bamberger
report. See graph to the left. Electrosensitive
people may dislike level B.
0.2 and 0.6 V/m around level C and D
are used by the Bioinitiative
Report as recommended max levels for indoor resp.
outdoor exposure. Birds
don't seem to like 0,6 V/m, though (ref
20).
Level E is regarded as a high level and should
be avoided.
Finally, 61 V/m is defined as a 'safe' level by ICNIRP
but only to protect from thermal damages during 6 minutes.
